Fabrication Capacity & Locations
John E. Green Company has multiple fabrication/assembly facilities, and we have made substantial capital investments to further our abilities. Our Corporate Fabrication Shop is in Saginaw, Michigan, and produces most of our pipe fabrication. Within the past few years, renovations were made to improve material handling productivity and increase welding production – without requiring additional manpower. Ten (10) newly installed welding stations and seven (7) additional jib cranes have improved our production, reduced JEG field hours, controlled safety risk, limited job site congestion, and increased the quality of job site installations.
In July 2022, JEG purchased a building in the same industrial park as the Corporate Fab Shop to perform pipe assembly and racking more efficiently. When required, both JEG Saginaw fabrication/assembly facilities work multiple shifts and weekends to accommodate the most demanding project schedules. Our Highland Park fabrication shop provides pipe fabrication typically to Detroit area projects but can support additional fabrication as needed for this project. This facility assists our field with fabrication adjustments, production-type piping fabrication, and specialty “Just In Time” fabrication. Our fabrication and assembly facilities are supported by our JEG team of ten (10) in our Corporate Warehouse located in Highland Park.

JEG is dedicated to implementing LEAN Principles which include Pull Planning, Safety Standards, Choosing by Advantage (CBA), Set-Based Design (SET), Target Value Design (TVD), Prefabrication, Just in Time Delivery, plus many more.
